Permits
At Westhoff Van Namen, we guide companies in regulated markets through the entire permit process: from strategic preparation to objection and appeal.
Apply for a permit
In an era where regulations are becoming increasingly complex and government policy is constantly changing, obtaining and maintaining a permit is no longer a given. Whether it concerns an operating permit, environmental permit, presence permit, or a gambling permit – legal guidance is essential to limit risks and seize opportunities.
An event permit is generally required when:
- The event is publicly accessible;
- There is amplified sound, traffic measures, or security;
- Alcohol is served or temporary structures are erected (such as stages or tents).

Enforcement and Sanctions
We guide you with:
- Order subject to penalty or Order subject to administrative enforcement
- Administrative fines
- Bibob investigations and integrity matters;
- Consultation with supervisors such as the Gaming Authority or municipalities.
